What equipment does my child need to play baseball?

Team jerseys/shirts are provided as part of your registration. Bats and balls are provided by the organization but some players may want to bring their own bat but check with the coach to ensure it’s the proper bat that can be used in our league. Your child is required to have the following equipment.

What size of bat does my child need?

There is no requirement for a bat for each player, each coach will have bats available based on the division age grouping. However, if you want to have a personal bat for your child, we will post the information here shortly.

What evenings will my child play?

We are at the mercy of the Town of Bracebridge each year for our diamond usage as they handle requests from multiple leagues that share the diamonds. Our registration opens before they make their decisions, so our list of days are tentative until we can confirm. It really also depends on registration numbers, if we don’t have enough players for a division, we’ll sometimes have to combine into the next lower or higher division and therefore those days may change. We do offer refunds before the season starts if we change the days of play and it doesn’t work for your schedule. Tentative days of play are below.

When does the season start and end?

Season runs from around the last week of May / first week of June to the mid-summer, with the year end tournament being the Friday & Saturday after the last week.

For the 2026 season, the ball season is expected to start May 25th and the season runs until the year end tournament starting the evening of Friday July 24th and all day Saturday July 25th.
